Join us for a scenic group horseback ride through the stunning trails of Red Gate Farms in Savannah, GA. Our group rides are available in 30, 60, and 90-minute options and are perfect for small groups of up to four riders. Whether you're exploring with friends, family, or looking for a fun outdoor experience near downtown Savannah, our guided group trail rides offer the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
COST: $60 - $125 per rider
GUESTS: Up to Four (4)*
AGES: 7+ years old**
*Any riders UNDER 18 must have an adult ride with them.
**We can only take ONE rider aged 7-11 at a time. The rider must be on a lead line. The lead-line rider will be on their own horse attached to and led by the guide.

1. What should I wear for a horseback trail ride?
For your safety and comfort, we require all riders to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Helmets are also required and provided, so please be mindful of your hairstyle or headwear.
2. Do I need prior riding experience?
Not at all! Our trail rides are beginner-friendly and open to riders of all skill levels. You'll receive basic instruction before the ride to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
3. Are there age or weight requirements for trail rides?
Yes — trail riders must be at least 7 years old and weigh under 240 lbs. These guidelines help ensure the safety of both our guests and horses.
4. Where is Red Gate Farms Equestrian Center located?
We’re located just 10 minutes from historic downtown Savannah, offering a peaceful farm escape that’s close to the city — perfect for locals and visitors alike.
5. Do rides happen in the rain?
We ride in light rain, but for the safety of our riders and horses, we cancel in cases of heavy rain, lightning, or severe weather in the forecast. If your ride is affected, we’ll contact you to reschedule.
