Meet Our Horses
At Red Gate Farms, our horses are part of the family. Most are semi-retired from previous "jobs," such as racing, showing, ranch work, or in the case of our carriage horses, working in historic downtown Savannah. We give them a forever home on the Farm.
Fun Fact: Mystic is a friendly gal full of personality. She is always ready to meet new friends whether it is at the fence line or in the saddle.
Fun Fact: Mo's full name is "Smokin' Mo Jo."
Fun Fact: Charlie is from Maryland and is a semi-retired Western Pleasure show-horse and lesson horse.
Fun Fact: Georgia was born on a neighboring farm and grew up on Red Gate Farms. She is a true Georgia Queen!
Fun Fact: Dipper likes to let himself out of his stall or open gates to go hangout with the other horses.
Fun Fact: Dooley is one of our newest addition to the team here at Red Gate! He loves meeting new people and has quickly become a rising star this summer with horse camp.
Fun Fact: Laurie (along with her best friend, Betsie) worked as a carriage horse in Downtown Savannah.
Fun Fact: Betsie's favorite treat is Nutter Butter cookies.
Fun Fact: Bun Bun is a miniature horse. She loves snacks, kids and is the perfect blend of sassy and sweet.
Fun Fact: Bree is an Off Track Thoroughbred (OTTB).
Fun Fact: Niagara is a semi-retired lesson and show-horse from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
